Terms
The plain version.
The free check
- It is free and it commits you to nothing. Thomas runs Caliper on your computer, at your office, on the reports you choose to pull.
- The PDF and the Excel workbook it makes are saved to your computer and are yours to keep. Nothing from the check is kept by JTS.
The subscription
- It is offered only after a free check, and only when that check found at least 3 times what it costs. So it cannot be bought from this page by somebody who has not had one.
- $997 a month, month to month, or $9,970 a year. Card payments are handled by Stripe; JTS never sees your card number.
- Up to 3 people at your company, each with their own sign-in. The person who holds the plan adds and removes them.
- No refunds. The free check is there so you see what Caliper finds, on your own data, before you pay anything.
- Stop any time from your account page. It takes effect at the end of the month or year you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
Your data
- Caliper runs in your web browser and reads your files on your computer. They are never sent to JTS, and JTS cannot see them.
- Your history of checks is kept where you choose on your own computer or network. That also means JTS cannot recover it for you: keep it where it is backed up, or use "Save a backup file" in Settings.
- You can always open, export and delete your past checks, including after you stop paying.
What the figures are
- Estimates, worked out from the data you gave it, using the smallest defensible figure first. They are only as good as the reports they came from.
- They are not pricing, legal or accounting advice. What you charge, and whom you charge it, is your decision. Check a row before you change a price — every one traces back to invoice lines in your own data.
