Caliper is built so that your sales and costs never reach JTS. Here is exactly what does, and what does not.
What never leaves your computer
Your sales lines, costs, customers, items, vendors, stock, the files you open and every result. Caliper's engine runs inside the web page, on your computer, and reads your files from your own disk. The page is locked so that it can only talk to this site, and this site has nowhere to put a file: there is no address here that accepts one.
What the Caliper page asks this site for
Its own program files, and whether you are signed in and subscribed. That is all. No ads, no trackers, no analytics.
What this site keeps
Your email address, your company's name, a scrambled form of your password, whether you subscribe (and whether monthly or yearly), and who else at your company you added. If you asked for a free check: what you typed into that form. If you wrote to us through the feedback box: what you wrote. Payments are handled by Stripe, which holds your card details; JTS never sees them.
After a free check
Nothing from the check is kept. With your OK, Thomas writes down the company, the date and the headline figure — the "at least" number — so that an invitation to subscribe can say what the check found. Nothing else.
Never mixed with anybody else's
Your numbers are never combined with another company's, never used to build a comparison, and never used to learn anything. Competitors' prices never meet through JTS.
One thing to know about the public pages
The pages outside Caliper itself (this one, the front page, signing in) load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google sees that your browser asked for them. The Caliper page does not: it loads nothing from anybody but this site.
